HUMOR: From Readers Digest: Corporate Executive! It’s not true that most bosses lack a heart. It’s just that they keep them locked up for safekeeping. A secretary, an assistant, and their boss are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a genie appears to grant them each a wish. The secretary says, “I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world.” Poof! She’s gone. “I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of pina coladas and the love of my life.” says the assistant. And poof! Just like that, he’s gone. “You’re next,” the genie says to the boss. He says, “I want those two back in the office right after lunch.” Have a happy Thanksgiving. May God bless each of you with good health and happiness. For God and Country, B.J. Miller-Nobles
