ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT: OK, it looks like the suggestion box is working. I will try and answer some of the suggestions as long as it does not take up a lot of space. Where’s the ATM Machine? The ATM Manager was on vacation and could not attend our June meeting. He will be at our July meeting, so we should be able to make a decision then. Move the popcorn machine. The popcorn machine will stay behind the bar for safety reasons. What about Happy Hour? We, at Post 327, have Happy Hour 24/7. Check our prices compared to the other fraternal organizations. I had a couple of others, and I think those people who submitted them were talked to since basically it only involved them. Anthony, yours is quite long, so I will send you a memo. The meeting Hall is done and looks real good. Hope you come out to the 4th of July picnic and renew your membership for the new Post Commander. See you then!!!! For God and Country, Jim Norton

HUMOR: A wealthy man was having an affair with an Italian woman for several years. One night, during one of their rendezvous, she confided in him that she was pregnant. Not wanting to ruin his reputation or his marriage, he would pay her a large sum of money if she would go to Italy to secretly have the child. If she stayed in Italy to raise the child, he would also provide child support until the child turned 18. She agreed, but asked how he would know when the baby was born. To keep it discrete, he told her to simply mail him a post card, and write 'Spaghetti' on the back. He would then arrange for child support payments to begin. One day, about 9 months later, he came home to his confused wife. His wife said, “Honey, you received a very strange post card today.” “Oh, just give it to me, and I'll explain it,” he said. The wife handed him the card and watched as her husband read the card, turned white and fainted. On the card was written: Spaghetti, Spaghetti, and Spaghetti. Two with meatballs, one without.
NOTE: The Gotta family and Jerry Mason would like to thank everyone that attended the memorial service for Norma Mason. It was a great turnout. For God and Country, Don Gotta

URGENT NEED FOR DRIVERS – EVEN ONE DAY A WEEK! The Disabled American Veterans organization operates a Van Transportation Network. The Network vans transport Veterans from their homes to the Hampton VA Medical Center and back. The vans also travel to the Richmond VA Medical Center two times a week. This program operates with the support of civilian and veteran volunteers. If you think you could give a day or two a week to help those truly in need, please contact the office at 757-728-3148. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
A special thanks goes to everyone who helped me with the Post dinner and Buddy/Buddy last month. Thanks to Ken O’Bryan, the showcase looks great again.
