EDITOR: The Post CDR and I, along with several 327 members, attended a very nice ceremony at noon on the 24th for Gunnery Sergeant Martin A. Gatewood, USMC (Ret.). He is a former WWII POW. I want to thank First Vice CDR Byron Pianalto and Post Chaplain Tony Moore for helping me with the Post dinner, and thanks to Joyce Kelly for selling the “Buddy/Buddy” tickets. HUMOR: Football finally makes sense to me! A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team’s bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience. “Oh, I really liked it, “she replied, “especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn’t understand why they were trying to kill each other over 25 cents.” Dumbfounded, her date asked, “What do you mean?” “Well, to start with, they flipped a coin, one team got, and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was: “Get the quarter back! Get the quarter back! “I’m like Hellooooo? It’s only 25 cents!!!!” May God bless you. For God and Country, B.J. Miller-Nobles
